The 3rd Asi@Connect meeting successfully completed in Singapore last week with dedicated support of the representative of Asi@Connect partners. This meeting was consisted with Governors meeting, Steering Committee meeting, Project meeting and partner’s bi-lateral meeting during 25 – 29 March 2018, and Twenty-Three (23) representatives out of Twenty-four (24) partners attended. Through the Governors’ Meeting, the partners made consensus on project budget and activity plans. In the project meeting, the details of TEIN network management including NOC update, Call for proposals(CFPs) status, and visibility & PR activities were presented. Also each National Research and Education Network (NREN) representative shared their up-to-dated information about network and activities, and had open discussion for the project partners’ activities. * Asi@Connect Project Partners (countries/economies) : Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan , Thailand, and Vietnam Asi@Connect meeting was co-located with APAN45, and Research and Education Community across Asia-Pacific, Europe and globally enjoyed networking reception on 28 March 2018. During APAN45, numbers of Asi@Connect supporting programs were placed in the conference sessions: IAM TF Workshop and Working Group meeting; TRANSITS I training; CSIRT in Asia; e-Culture Working Group; Medical Working Group; and Asia Pacific Research Platform(APRP) We remember this whole week with few numbers: 43 participants (23 governors and 20 observers) in the 3rd Asi@Connect Governors Meeting; 85 participants in the 3rd Asi@Connect Project Meeting; 12 members in the Asi@Connect Steering Committee Meeting; 20 Bi-lateral meetings with Asi@Connect partners and global R&E institutions; and More than 300 participants in APAN45 Our thanks go to all Asi@Connect partners, APAN and APAN45 local organizer.
